Description
This story happens simultaneously with the 1988 Democratic National Convention, the events of which were detailed in the previous novel, Ace in the Hole. In this book the plot involves a murder mystery told from two perspectives. Both Jay Ackroyd and Yeoman are trying to track down Chrysalis’ murderer. Jokertown is also described in more detail than in previous novels, and the story introduces many new characters and places.
